-This image was take atop a 15 foot half pipe, overlooking the man-made utopia only the select few are invited to. The subject stands freely, gazing at a 'skateboarder's fantasy'. The image allows the viewer to assume the perspective of something they may have never reached or imagined before, yet presents itself in such an accessible way.

-Personally, I believe this image is so raw. The hardcore essence not only emanates from the relentless aggression of putting one's self on the edge of doom, but as well, the subject (Cole) is the only kid I now who can do this. The subject forces it's way into the viewer's personal space leaving you feel invaded.

-Children from the North have an ability to flee the environmental variables that threat to constrain us. Canadian skateboarders will do anything to taste the sweet sap of freedom and is displayed in this image. The ice chunked out, shovelled and squeegee'd aside sits quietly underneath a freedom fuelled, rage filled child while he overpowers the threats, shirtless, unaffected by the cold constraint
Red Sea

-This photo was taken during the first session of the Red Sea. A big group of kids, came together, bought paint, and decided to recolour the bowl at Shaw Millennium Park, The Red Sea. Before the city decided maim and recolour the creation, this was a voice the kids needed. Skateboarders or all creators for that matter need a canvas to paint their picture. Without a medium to expel, creators build up their thoughts to the point of expulsion. Pictured here, Darcy, blazes across the viewers vision, blowing a kiss of his creation.

-A beautiful summer's day matches the heat radiating from the subject. The image captures to exact moment between laying one's self upon the line of failure and victory. Any person who endures a similar battle is able to relate to this image whether it be; skateboarding, knitting, sustaining relationships, forgiving adversary's ect. For they can connect with this quarrel and they seek their next victory.
