-This piece I created is to pay homage to some of the arguably most influential figures in the formation of punk rock. Henry Rollins of Black Flag is placed as the Jack for the purpose of the revolutionary status Black Flag had at the time. Punk rock seemed over ruled by white supremacy and bands from Washington such as Black Flag and the Bad Brains took punk back from the bigotry that it was resisted by and transformed punk into an openminded, free beast for everyone with a cause. Patti Smith, a legendary staple for independent, alternative and punk music. She is the queen because of her backbone to stand up for women when no one else would and say the things no one else could. Iggy Pop on the right, the king, embodied the spirit of being a punk. Being someone who grabbed ahold of their life and dictated what it was to be instead of what someone made his life to be. Iggy cared only for what his art could be, not what others thought of it. The piece, created in Photoshop, was made because I think these are some of the last people someone would ever expect to be named a queen or king, I think giving them that label, gives them the power they deserve.

-This design entirely was created in Photoshop while the images where altered using Lightroom. The subject is shown shovelling up broken puzzle pieces of his friends. The puzzle of friendship is broken and he feels responsible to piece it back together. The green background is to symbolize the envy he resides in. He is stuck piecing everyone together while everyone else gets to have fun. The envy is then reflecting onto him, showing his character and emotion.
